Our thoughts on 2021 dynasty fantasy football rookie Brevin Jordan.

Brevin Jordan, tight-end out of Miami. Six-two and a half, two hundred and forty-seven pounds. In Las Vegas, Jordan was the number one ranked tight-end in 2018, ranked higher than Kyle Pitts. Amassed sixty-three catches for one thousand and one hundred eleven yards and thirteen touchdowns as a senior in high school. Brevin Jordan ran a six-seven forty at his pro day. Jordan has a 99th percentile break-out age. In 2020 he had the highest yards per route run among tight-ends, 2.42, just beating out Kyle Pitts.

"Jordan was ranked higher than Kyle Pitts."

He has a tendency of tipping off his route to defenders. At times it looked like the defensive back knew where he was going to go. It isn't easy to try and find the words that describe Brevin Jordan. Despite his athletic profile, he did not look that good on the field, he had some moments, but nothing made him stand out. If you had to

pick one of the rookie tight ends; Jordan may be the number two behind Pitts due to his upside because none of them are exhilarating.

It could be argued that the concern with his arm strength might be a little overplayed. One particular play stood out that may address this concern. On a semi botched flea-flicker, basically, the running back tossed it low Trask had to gather up the ball off the ground and bring it up for the throw. Leaving him with very little time to establish his base. Trask threw it from basically one twenty-five-yard line to the other twenty-five-yard line with rushers in his face. If Kyle Trask was able to set his feet, he did so with them sideways. The ball went from 50 yards in the air on what was likely pure arm strength.

Dynasty Outlook

Take Jordan based on his athletic profile and target him in the third round of rookies drafts; maybe bump him up slightly if you're in a tight-end premium league, depending on the premium. You can probably identify how to find these tight ends before they break out, and if you do, you're going to save yourself four years of a roster spot.
